?good Rit weapon skills for axe warrior
i am lvl 20 W/Rit axe build with triple chop.
i have tried brutal weapon and splinter weapon with my warrior and they are good in particular brutal weapon. However how good is the weapon of quickening that one can get from GWEN to increase the speed of movement by around 20%? that should be better since you attack more often and get more adrenaline

The spell your talking about is Weapon of Aggression. Weapon of Quickening is a completely different WS. As for what weapon spell would be effective. It would be helpful if you actually posted the build.

Splinter or warmonger's is what I'd bring. AoE interruption sounds good to me(warmonger)
It's even better when you have a rit carrying it tho ;-)

Those are good. Unless your using a stance for something else then Weapon of Aggression would be a waste. I'll use my warrior as an example, he uses a Warrior's Endurance build and being a stance I can't use other speed boost stances, so I use Weapon of Aggression to increase my attack speed.
And yes it can't get any better than a rit casting it.

Why bring weapon of aggression when you have access to flail ?
Also, where's dismember in your bar?
EDIT: Nvm this post, didn't knew you only had factions

Weapons spells generally are not worth bringing on a warrior due to wasted attribute points, and high energy cost of effective spells. The only one I'd bring on my warrior is
[skill]vital weapon[/skill]

i think you are right vital weapon is good but also brutal weapon is good as well giving me + 11 on all my attacks since putting extra points into axe or strength, the attacks go up slowly +2 for each latter level.
also in splinter, is the damage total for the extra weapons or is it in addition to the base weapon damage? can this skill work well with triple chop but creatures rarely swarm around more than 3 at a time since there a lot of range creatures

I'd only bring them on a warrior if I was farming. Othewise I'd just chuck them on Olias or whoever is acting as the Orders

Plinter is the best weapon spell to have on a war, and its best when a rit casts it, but still works very well on a War/Rit.
[skill]Nightmare Weapon[/skill] can work for a quick HP bost.

leave the casting of weapon spells to a ritualist in your backline. Every second you're casting something you're not hitting things, and that's bad.

While it is always best to bring a live rit to cast weapon spells upon you, sometimes with Heros the mirco management required just isnt worth the effort.
Hero rits are rather notorious for casting weapons spells on the wrong targets or at the wrong time. Splinter when the war is fighting a solo foe, Brutal on enchanted allies, Vengful right after casting splinter on the same ally.
As for spirits on a war, well I have to admit that when I use channeling for Splinter on my war I often bring Bloodsong. Its a 5energy spirit that I can summon before agro and will deal between 18-20 points of armor ignoring vamp damage for 100+ seconds. That works out to about 1000 points of "potential" damage for 5energy, not a bad trade off. The spirit is behind my back line, meaning its unlikely to get wiped by mob casters, and if a war passes my casters to pick apart that spirit I don't lose any sleep over it. Pluss its one more spirit to help any Heros using spirit based skills like Essence Strike, Spirit Burn or Spirit Light.
